Kapchorwa Missions
Gateway to the Sebei Region
It is amazing that what initially began as the Ministry seemingly just responding to a "Macedonian Call" for mission from Rev. Daniel Wareya of St. Matthew's COU Kapenguria, Kapchorwa has turned out to be a major gateway for annual missions to the entire Sebei Region. This is consistent with a clear, emerging pattern of the Lord fashioning missions that target regions and people groups.
The Macedonian Call
"During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.'"
- Acts 16:9
Just as Paul received the call to Macedonia, we received the call to Kapchorwa—a call that has opened doors to the entire Sebei Region.
Our Mission Programs
Ministerial Capacity Building
This program is aimed at equipping Church leaders and ministers around Sebei region so that they are in a better position to effectively meet the dynamic ministry needs of their communities.
Youth Conferences
These Conferences are specifically intended to evangelize, disciple and establish the Youth of Sebei Region in the ways of God as they not only constitute the majority of their population but also represent both the present and future of their community.
Radio Programs
This is one of the outreach programs the Ministry usually does during our annual missions through local Radio stations like Elgon FM which have wide coverage and thereby helping the Ministry reach more people around Sebei Region.
Church Services
We typically crowns our annual missions by deploying preachers to minister in a number of local Churches and thereby giving the Ministry an opportunity to reach the communities in their regular congregational settings.
